Hi, I’m Emma Bäcker-Håkonsen (Emma Backer)– an artist and angler from Norway.

My love for drawing began in childhood, but it was through fishing that my art found its true focus. EBH Arts grew from a simple idea: fishing is more than a hobby – it’s a way of life, shaped by patience, presence and connection to nature.

Through hand-drawn illustrations, I explore the emotional side of fishing – the quiet moments, the anticipation, the bond between angler and water. My work is made for those who fish with feeling.
